Award Recognizes Company for Unmatched End-to-End Operational Technology Protection Capabilities and Product Value

NEW YORK, Aug 8th, 2017 — Indegy, the leader in industrial cyber security, today announced it has been named the 2017 Product Leader in Industrial Cyber Security for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing by global technology research firm Frost & Sullivan. A full version of the report is available here.

The award recognizes Indegy’s game-changing industrial cyber security platform for its ability to prevent operational disruptions caused by external attacks, malicious insiders or human error. It also enables pharmaceutical manufacturers to automate the integrity validation of process controllers which is an FDA requirement. Until now, this has been accomplished manually.

“Indegy provides unmatched product value in industrial cyber-security for pharmaceutical manufacturing,” said Sankara Narayanan, Research Analyst for Frost & Sullivan. “While competing companies only monitor for anomalies, one of Indegy’s unique capabilities is that it can identify changes made to controllers, namely PLCs, RTUs and DCS, by employees and contractors, whether they connect to devices over the network or directly to them using a serial cable or a USB drive.”

The latest version of the Indegy platform centralizes the management and configuration of threat monitoring and anomaly detection capabilities across multiple facilities. This enables global organizations to protect their industrial control systems (ICS) by maintaining unified and comprehensive visibility into all activity on Operational Technology (OT) networks spread across the country or world.

“Being recognized by Frost & Sullivan as the ICS cyber security leader for pharmaceutical manufacturing is a tremendous honor. Since pharmaceutical manufacturing is tightly regulated, any unauthorized change to operational systems can shut down production for months of re-validations,” said Barak Perelman, CEO of Indegy. “Even worse, malicious or unintended modifications can result in ineffective or contaminated products. Indegy provides the visibility and monitoring needed to ensure the safety and reliability of these sensitive processes.”

About Indegy

Indegy, the leader in industrial cyber security, protects Industrial Control Systems (ICS) used in critical infrastructures, utilities and manufacturing industries against operational disruptions caused by external and internal threats. By providing comprehensive visibility into the control-plane engineering activities performed in operational technology networks, Indegy’s Industrial Cyber Security Platform automatically discovers all controllers (PLCs, RTUs, DCSs) on ICS networks, monitors all access and changes in real-time, and validates their integrity ensuring no unauthorized changes go undetected. Indegy enables advanced detection and response to threats that place the safety, reliability and security of industrial networks at risk before damage occurs.

The company has been named a Gartner “Cool Vendor” for Industrie 4.0, one of the 10 Most Promising Cyber Security Startups by Forbes Israel, is a TiE50 winner and Network World Hot Security Startup to Watch. For more information visit, and follow us on Twitter and LinkedIn.
